A Watch and Strap, Designed as One

Since 2008, Gunny Straps has been creating watch straps for timepieces from all around the world. With every design, we’ve always asked ourselves the same question: how can we make a strap complement the watch as a whole?

From the dial and case to the smallest details, we design our straps to bring out the character of each timepiece, creating pairings that feel as though they belong together.

But after years of designing straps around other brands’ watches, we began to wonder: what if we could design the watch around our strap, too?

What if the watch and strap weren’t simply matched after they were made, but designed to complement one another from the beginning?

That’s where CronusArt came in.

Together, we explored and refined the design, bringing the identities of both brands into one cohesive timepiece. The result pairs a distinctive brown patina dial with our Dark Brown Patina Scritto strap, carrying Gunny Straps’ signature vintage character beyond the strap and into the watch itself.

For this collaboration, we wanted to do more than create a watch with a matching strap. We wanted to bring both elements together as one complete design.
